NACA applauds Senate confirmation of David Cummins as TSA Administrator

In response to Senate confirmation of David Cummins as Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration, National Air Carrier Association President and CEO George Novak issued the following statement:

The National Air Carrier Association (NACA) congratulates David Cummins on his confirmation by the U.S. Senate as Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration. During a time of record demand for air transportation, having a confirmed leader at TSA is critical to staff morale and the development of effective and efficient security policies. We look forward to working with him to address the many security challenges and issues facing NACA’s carriers in the rapidly growing charter, cargo, passenger and on-demand segments of the aviation industry. We also thank Acting Administrator Ha McNeill for her steadfast leadership while facing enormous and unprecedented challenges during her tenure.
